Mundari Grammar 1903

Mundari Grammar, written by John-Baptist Hoffmann and first published in 1903, is one of the earliest systematic studies of the Mundari language. The book provides a detailed description of Mundari phonology, morphology, and sentence structure, documenting noun and verb forms, pronouns, particles, and syntactic patterns based on careful observation of native speech. As a pioneering work on a Munda (Austroasiatic) language, it laid an important foundation for later linguistic research and remains a valuable resource for scholars and learners interested in the language and cultural heritage of eastern India.
